Privacy Policy

1. Local-First Privacy Mandate
Syedello is designed around a strict local-first architectural model. When you create project boards, assign milestones, log RAID dependencies, or upload notes, all input data is saved locally inside your browser's client-side sandboxed database (IndexedDB and LocalStorage). Your project data never touches our servers unless you opt into Team Cloud sync.
2. Privacy & Data Collection
Syedello does not run tracking cookies, commercial advertising APIs, or behavior recording scripts. The app uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for anonymous aggregate page-view measurement — no board content, personal identifiers, or task data is collected or transmitted by these services. Your board navigation, dashboard interactions, and project data remain on your own machine unless you opt into Team Cloud sync.
3. Optional Cloud Backup & Sync Services
If you sign in with a cloud sync account, the application will securely transmit your local database updates to the backend services (such as Supabase endpoints) you configure. This sync occurs directly from your browser client using industry-standard SSL encryption. Your sync credentials and authentication secrets are stored locally on your device.
4. Storage & Cookie Usage
We use local storage keys and browser caches solely to support functional core app settings. These include:
- Active project configurations and board layouts.
- Your preference for light, dark, or system UI themes.
- Onboarding wizard progress states and session validation keys.
5. Data Retention & Management
Because all data is stored client-side, we have no mechanism to retrieve, delete, or inspect your boards. If you wish to delete all project logs, you can do so at any time by clearing your browser's site cache or clicking "Reset Workspace" within the application settings page. We strongly suggest regularly exporting `.syedello` backup files to keep secure copies of your records.
