1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, opening, or running Syedello, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, do not download, install, or execute this client-side software.
2. Client-Side Software & Local-First Use
Syedello is a client-side, local-first web application. All project data, including cards, sprint settings, RAID logs, and team members, is processed and stored in your web browser's local sandbox environment (IndexedDB, LocalStorage). We do not collect, monitor, or manage your proprietary data. Data persistence is subject to your browser's caching, disk limits, and storage cleanup guidelines.
3. User Data & Security Posture
Because your project boards reside entirely in your browser sandbox, you are fully responsible for backup management. You can export complete project parameters at any time via `.syedello` backup files or JSON schema exports. We accept no liability or responsibility for loss of project logs, card history, or settings due to browser cleanup, cache deletion, operating system updates, or hardware failure.
4. Optional Cloud Integration Services
You can optionally enable real-time collaboration or database synchronization services. When active, project data will sync with your selected database instances. Authorized sync endpoints and keys are stored on your device and are subject to the security of your network configuration.
5. Warranty Exclusions
Syedello is provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Syed Imon Rizvi and Mercer & Mills Digital Agency disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Syed Imon Rizvi, Mercer & Mills Digital Agency, or their contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including but not limited to procurement of substitute goods or services, loss of use, data, or profits, or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updates will be published directly within the application codebase or the public docs index. Your continued use of the app after terms have been updated constitutes agreement to the modified terms.
